Overview
The Nearby Plumbing Water Heater Giveaway is our way of giving back to the community that supports us. Every quarter, we randomly select one qualified homeowner from the Salt Lake Valley to receive a brand-new Rheem water heater with FREE professional installation.
No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.
By entering, you agree to the terms outlined in these Official Rules.
Eligibility
To qualify, participants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Own and reside in a single-family home in Salt Lake City or surrounding areas
- Have a water heater that is 6 years old or older
- Consent to allow Nearby Plumbing to take photos or a short video during installation for use in marketing content
Only one entry per household is allowed.
Employees of Nearby Plumbing, affiliated contractors, advertising agencies, and their immediate family members or people living in the same household are not eligible.
Giveaway Period
Entries are accepted on a rolling basis. The current promotional period runs until December 5, 2025, with the winner announced on December 12, 2025.
Future entries will be considered for subsequent quarters if not selected this time—no need to re-enter.
How to Enter
1. To begin application for entry, complete the registration form here:
Giveaway Registration
You will be asked to provide your name, address, contact details, and basic information about your current water heater.
2. A representative from Nearby Plumbing will contact you to schedule an appointment either in person or virtually to verify the water heater's age and condition.
3. An estimate will be sent to you for the replacement of the water heater. The estimate will also be used to enter you into the drawing for the water heater giveaway.
4. An entry is not considered completed until an estimate has been sent to the applicant and placed in the drawing queue.
Winner Selection
One winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries and will be contacted via phone or email. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, a new winner may be drawn.
Winners must allow a representative from Nearby Plumbing to inspect the current water heater and confirm eligibility.
Prize Details
The prize includes:
- A brand-new water heater (valued up to $2,500)
- Professional installation by our licensed team
- Old unit removal and disposal
The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and must be accepted as awarded.
Media & Marketing Consent
By entering, you consent to Nearby Plumbing capturing photos or videos of the installation process and using them for social media, website updates, and other promotional content. No additional compensation will be provided.

- Nearby Plumbing reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the stated requirements or appears fraudulent.
